The FHSAA State Flag Football Finals kicked off on Friday with Harmony High School looking to get to its first State Championship game.  But, they'd have to go through an undefeated Coconut Creek team to get there.   The Lady Longhorns defense dominated, and the offense eventually caught fire to seal the victory. Longhorns win 13-6 and head to the 1A State Final.

Powerhouse Seminole High School heads to the 2A Final after a 40-12 win over Hialeah High School.  Plant High School took on Martin County.  The game was a defensive struggle early on.  However, too many turnovers in the second half cost the Panthers.  Martin County won, 13-6, and is set to take on Seminole at 5:00pm Saturday.

After a defensive battle that yielded no points in regulation, the last semifinal game of the day saw Robinson High School go to overtime against Godby High School.  Godby scored first in overtime, but missed the point after the touchdown.  Robinson then scored a touchdown on third down and made the point after.  Knights win, 7-6, and take on Harmony at 3:00pm on Saturday.
