Disney has shared new details about the one of the latest eateries coming to Disney Springs.

  • Terralina Crafted Italian to open early 2018
  • Menu to include signature pasta dishes, pizza, vegetable dishes
  • Theme inspired by the Lake District of Northern Italy

Terralina Crafted Italian, slated to open in 2018, takes over the space once occupied by Portobello Country Italian Trattoria.

The new restaurant is inspired by the Lake District of Northern Italy.

The story, according to a post on the Disney Parks Blog, is as follows:

“A first-generation Italian family, from the Lake District, built a home in Disney Springs, expanding it over the years to welcome more friends and neighbors to enjoy their hospitality, and, of course, food!”

The redesigned restaurant will feature authentic Italian cuisine from James Beard award-winning chef Tony Mantuano and executive chef Justin Plank.

Menu items include signature pasta dishes, hand-tossed pizzas and vegetable dishes.

Inside, guests will be welcomed by an open rotunda that features a rustic stone fireplace. Outside, guests can enjoy the new outdoor patio with veranda bar, and a two-story glass conservatory that showcases views of Lake Buena Vista.

An official opening date has not yet been released.

Levy Restaurants, the group that operates Disney Springs’ Paddlefish, is behind Terralina Crafted Italian.

Disney Springs is set to welcome several new restaurants next year, including The Edison, Maria & Enzo’s, Enzo’s Hideaway and Pizza Pointe.
