More fallout from the sexual harassment allegations against actor Kevin Spacey, as the Oscar winner is cut from an already shot movie, set to hit theaters within weeks.

  • Kevin Spacey replaced by Christopher Plummer
  • Boston news anchor says Spacey touched her son

Spacey was axed from the film, "All the Money in the World," directed by Ridley Scott, which premieres on Friday, Dec. 22.

Movie cast agreed to re-shoot all scenes involving Spacey, who played the part of a reclusive, aging oil tycoon and donned heavy makeup and prosthetics and replacing him with actor Christopher Plummer.

It is a race against the clock, because to be eligible for Oscar contention, the film must hit theaters before the end of the year.

In the wake of the allegations, Sony Pictures also pulled the flick from the American Film Institute Fest and said in a statement that despite it being a "superb film," considering the ample allegations around the actor, it would be "inappropriate to celebrate at a gala."

The controversy surround Spacey began in late October, as Anthony Rapp, an original cast member of Broadway's "Rent," accused the actor of harassing him when he was 14 years old. Since then, allegations have mounted around the Oscar winner.

On Wednesday, a former Boston TV news anchor said that the actor sexually assaulted her son.

Heather Unruh wiped back tears when she told the story of how the actor bought her 18-year-old son many drinks at a restaurant in Nantucket on July 2016, then touched him inappropriately.

Online, people are pointing out how unprecedented the move was to remove Spacey from the film.

Others, worried Plummer was trending on Twitter because he passed away, were relieved that was not the case.

It was just last week that Netflix dumped Spacey from "House of Cards," the wildly popular political show.

NPR reports that Netflix is still deciding if the show will go on.
