A Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School has been arrested after making threats online, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy responded to the school Tuesday to investigate a tip.

The deputy interviewed a 10th grader about photos he shared on Snapchat.

In one of the images, the teen displayed a gun on his waistband. In another image, he showed bullets.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, both photos had threatening messages.

The teen was held under Florida's Baker Act and transported to a facility for a mental health evaluation.

Once medically cleared, the teen will be transported to the Juvenille Assessment Center.

He faces a misdemeanor charge, authorities said.
