A Tuesday morning fire destroyed a home in Dade City. 

  • No injuries in Dade City fire
  • Flames destroy home in 15300 block of Lee Avenue
  • Nearby homes not threatened 

According to Pasco County Fire Rescue, the fire broke out in the 15300 block of Lee Avenue just before 8:30 a.m. 

Upon arrival, responding firefighters found a signle family wood home fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters said the flames also were threatening two other nearby homes.  

Firefighters were able to bring the flames under control in about 20 minutes. 

The house, which was destroyed, was vacant and there were no injuries. The flames did not reach the two neighboring homes. 

The fire is under investigation.
