Tampa Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store that occurred on June 19. 

Police said the male suspect entered the store wearing a black mask covering his face. They said the suspect pulled a gun from his waistband and pointed it at the clerk while demanding money. 

The suspect took the cash and fled on foot toward Ellicott Street. 

The robbery took place just before 10 p.m. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'10" to 6'0", weighing 220-230 lbs. He is said to have a high pitch voice and was wearing a red hoodie, blue jean shorts, possibly blue plaid boxer shorts and black shoes with a white strip. 

Crime Stoppers of Tampa is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the suspect. You are asked to call 1-800-873-8477.
