High clouds will continue moving through this evening.

  • Temps drop this evening
  • Highs near 80 Sunday
  • Warming up next week

Temperatures are dropping off quickly, especially for the Nature Coast this evening with light winds. One more cool night is in store, then a warming trend kicks in by Sunday afternoon. Lows Sunday will be in the upper 40s north to the upper 50s for Tampa. There may be some low clouds in the morning.

Sunday will be partly cloudy to partly sunny. Light winds will lead to a sea breeze. Highs will get into the upper 70s, but it will be cooler at the coast.  Sunday night will be in the low 50s north to low 60s in Tampa. There will be fog later.

On Monday, high clouds will move in and out. Temperatures will return to around 80. A sea breeze will cool off the coastal areas in the afternoon.

Tuesday will bring a few more clouds, but highs will again be around 80.  East winds will stay light, so a northwest sea breeze will cool the coast in the afternoon.

By Wednesday, a front will drift into North Florida.  The front will make just a little progress south on Thursday, so a few showers will be possible.  Highs both days will be in the upper 70s.  Friday morning may cool a little, but the afternoon will be in the upper 70s.
