Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Friday into Saturday morning, with a look at conditions through midweek next week.

  • Front tonight
  • Cooler morning
  • Warmer Sunday

Skies will be partly cloudy overnight. A front is moving into the area, but it will mainly go unnoticed as there won't be any rain with it.

What it will do is shift our winds briefly from the north, allowing for a reinforcing shot of slightly cooler, drier air before Saturday morning.

Morning lows will drop back to the 40s for northern counties and 50s elsewhere.

The weekend is looking quiet with light winds. Since the front is not strong it will not make a huge difference with our afternoon highs as we will still get into the low to mid 70s Saturday afternoon.

But with the humidity being low it will be more comfortable than Friday. Skies will go from partly cloudy to mostly sunny.

Saturday night will be mostly clear, with seasonable temperatures in the 50s and 40s.

Sunday will start the warming trend as we get back to the upper 70s in the afternoon. Skies will be partly cloudy.

Next week will be warmer than last week. Expect highs near 80 both Monday and Tuesday. Skies will be variable going between mostly sunny and partly cloudy both days.

The next front will be approaching Wednesday, but it may not even move through, so expect only a few showers Wednesday and Thursday since it will be nearby.
