25-year-old woman charged with DUI in deadly hit and run
An Ormond beach woman has been charged with DUI after a deadly hit and run involving a pedestrian.

Police said Jessica Struthers, 25, hit a pedestrian near South Atlantic Avenue and Milsap Road and took off.
The crash occurred around 11:12 p.m. Friday night.
A witness described hearing a crash and noticed a white SUV with front end damage leaving the scene.
Police responded to the area and found a person lying in the roadway.
The victim, identified as Charles Bofinger, 63, of Pittsburgh, was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
While investigating the crash, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office received a call from someone, advising that he believed his girlfriend was involved in a crash on Atlantic Avenue.
Officers contacted Jessica Struthers and determined that her vehicle matched the description of the vehicle involved in the hit and run.
Struthers was arrested and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of a crashing involving death.
